I’m trying to render a file about 5 minutes long to burn to blu ray. I rendered out of AE as a QT Animation file and used Sony DVD Architect to burn to disc. Playback reveals glitches popping up, basically digital noise in horizontal strips that flicker in and out randomly. Any advice on settings to check to get this to render without this noise? Is it a memory allocation thing or multiple frame setting?

    thanks
    Steven

Sorry, should’ve been more descriptive. The glitches are in the QT animation file rendered out of AE. That’s why I’m wondering if there’s a setting in AE that I should change to help eliminate this issue. Would rendering multiple frames make a difference, or put another way, not rendering multiple frames might make a difference?

Dave, I think it’s time to christen Stock Answer #4!

From Dave’s post [link] just a couple threads up:

[Dave LaRonde] “Adobe has published a series of questions that help people diagnose After Effects problems. You will find them here:

Even if a question seems unimportant, you should answer it. After you reply, people will probably have more questions for you. Solving some problems can take time.”
