Digital Juicer and Snow Leopard
As part of a clean intall of Snow Leopard as recommended by all on the Cow, I have downloaded the Juicer 3 Snow Leopard installer (version 3.83c for Snow Leopard).
No matter what I do, Juicer 3 crashes. Have been through numerous uninstalls/re-installs, deletion of Preferences.XML, etc. and calls to tech support and following of their advice.
Nothing works – crashes everytime and their Crash Report window opens – yes, I have filled out the Crash Report details and sent in numerous times.
Juicer worked great under Leopard … under SL it’s just a no go.
Read in various places of this problem.Just wanted to know if anyone is able to use the Juicer on Snow Leopard?
My large library of Digital Juice products are now obsoleted and useless.

I’ve used Juicer with Snow Leopard; but the computer I use has only had Snow Leopard operating system and no other prior operating system. Seems to work fine with the music; there have been some minor glitches with compositor’s toolkits. No other DJ products currently in use.

Would appreciate knowing which version of the Juicer you are using that is partially working for you with Snow Leopard.
We have repeatedly tried installing 3.83c for Snow Leopard and it’s still a no go as many others have found. Maybe a 32bit version for the Mac will work?

There is a new build of the Juicer 3.83_d posted on the Digital Juice website. Downloading it now to see if something has been fixed.
Since this post have found lots of folks with the same non-functioning Snow Leopard and the Juicer … hoping this new version fixes the mess – have not been able to use by Digital Juice library since upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard.

Nope – 3.83d Juicer does not work either. Same old problems.
This problem has been going on for a couple of years and no resolution by Digital Juice.
If you are on the Mac and Snow Leopard, I would definitely not recommend purchasing Digital Juice products – their system has not worked for many folks.

Juicer is just a poorly made program in general and the way I see it there shouldn’t be a need for it. Yes, piracy is a concern, but every other stock content provider I’ve worked with trusts their own customers enough not to make them use a special program just to access their content, I really wish DJ would too.

Yep – not too happy with Digital Juice these days.
This problem has been going on for a long long time without a resolution.
When I call tech support (India) they give me the same baloney solution tried repeatedly that they should know does not work.
I will buy no more DJ products. They are just collecting dust on 2 shelves.
Turned into a crummy troubled company.
