I’m looking to ‘spice up” my work for the corporate type of work that I do. Mostly training video, equipment demonstrations, and for demo work.

I don’t do animations or Sp FX for any of my wedding work.

I got the digital juice offer from Cow and wondered if it’s worth a try.

I’ve never used anything other than vegas ( and media 100 )and all of my title work and on screen graphics to date have been simple photo shop or Power Point.

any recommendations without spending a fortune?
    currently running V6
I have Vegas 8 in the box.. but have not loaded it yet..

    Thanks
    Wayne

I have used Digital Juice products for years, going back to their first package with my old Fast Electronics Video Machine. I think it is great stuff! Their newer products are pretty much turnkey and you can also “customize” most of them. With Vegas it is a one step event to set the alpha channel on the DJ track. Simply right click and adujust track properties. Their products are very clean and always look great. They also have combinations of Masks, motion backgrounds and stills that allow you to use the same theme through out a project. They also have a very good stock footage library and sound effects library. All Digital Juice products are “buy-out” and much less expensive than most others. If you do weddings I suggest their “Wedding” Editor’s Tool Kit for a start. Their free “Juicer” program also makes it very easy to find and preview all their products.

If cost is an issue, wait until they have a sale – which is at least once a week!!
Sign up for their newsletter and you’ll always know when one or more collections are on sale.
For example, they just released a new package called Power Cuts.
I ordered them the day I got the notice and have them already.
My field is education and I think this is a package you’d like a lot.
It’s on sale right now at $169 for both sets and, IMO, is money well spent.

    Mike and Kevin..

In the time it took you guys to respond,, i went out on a limb and got the Editors ToolKit pro.. the demo online was impressive ,, and it is seriously on sale.

Heavens knows how long it will take me to figure it all out… ( how far back in photoshop will work with the psd layers or is that not an issue?..

Mike, I’ll keep an eye out on the other one too.

    thanks again…

Just a follow up if you happen to see this, Their DJTV shows have all kinds of training, and the “swipes for Vegas” training shows how to use some of their editors tool kit products as well. They also have really good technical support. I am actually suprised they don’t have a forum on creative cow.

[Tony Noon] “I am actually surprised they don’t have a forum on creative cow.”

We’ll gladly add a forum for Digital Juice just as soon as someone volunteers to host it. Interested? ;o)

I also love the various Juice products, especially the new Sound FX tools and their Juice Drops layered Photoshop files.
