Digital Images and Audio Sync Problem Using Preview Display
I am having difficulty consistently keeping images in sync with the audio track in the preview display. If I start and play at the location where the image and audio were out of sync, they will work fine. NOTE: I am not having any problem rendering. Below are my system specs.
Processor: 3.0 GHZ
RAM: 3 Gig
Hard Drives: SATA 80 Gig & SATA 120 Gig
Video Card: Nvidia Quadro 500 FX
Audio Device: Aardvark DirectPRO 24/96 (ASIO)
Operating System: Windows XP PRO Service Pack 2
Vegas Version: 6.0dNOTE: The sound card is set at 16 bit and 44kHz and the audio is a 16 bit 44kHz wav file. I also tried an Mp3 audio file and had the same results.

I figured it out. I needed to highlight the track/s or selection and use the Build Dynamic RAM Preview under Tools. – Works great!
