So, I’ve got a bunch of footage edited for national broadcast in FCE. However, the TV studio production procedures state that the footage needs to be submitted in either Beta SP, Digital Beta, or Beta SX. Is there anyway I can get my footage onto these tapes at a decently affordable price? I would prefer to do any conversions “in-house” rather than send it out to some third-party company. Does anyone know how I can get my footage to these tapes?
I did a little of my own research and I might need a deck converter or something.
    Any ideas?

You need an I/O card, and of course a deck. Not sure if FCE supports I/O cards, or any kind of video breakout box.
You may have to ship your footage to someone with FCP and an I/O and have them do it for you.

Unless you know the technical ins and outs of wiring up a deck via a suitable break out box and checking that your material is broadcast safe, it’ll be a lot easier and safer to take your material to a facility to play it out.

You can set yourself up to do that kind of thing in house, but get some quotes – it can be quite expensive (depending on what you consider expensive, of course).
