Digital Festival Submissions. Best route?
I’ve exported lots of content for the WEB, but I’m currently working on a festival short filmed on the EPIC. Lots of festival submissions now are digital, so negating any gamma shifts and such are essential. Some submissions are QT, some Flash. Instead of re-endcoding in flash I would like to only go through one generation of transcoding to avoid quality loss, so QT would be preferable.
Trying to figure out why H264 has a gamma shift and such is like beating a dead horse and everyones been over it 1000 times, does anyone have experience with digital festival submissions and know the best route?
