    Hi,

I’m trying to output DV onto my HVX200 from MC 3. I’ve tried several times now and each time I get to around ten minutes (precise point is different every time) and it just stops. There’s no error message or anything, it just gives up.

Any help appreciated as I’m on a deadline (as ever!)

    Awesome speedy reply, thanks Grin.

I am crash recording. Is there a way to stripe a tape in the HVX200 that you know of?

    Thanks!

off the top of my head, I dont recall how to set your tc on it but if you just record through the entire tape, it’ll have a constant control track you can lay off to.

    have you solved the problem?

have you tried disconnecting any monitor from the camera? this i believe, intermittently cause signal conflicts with the 1394 connection when dubbing out — happened to me a number of times before.

    goodluck!
