Digital Cut 720/24fps
Ok, so two things:
Everytime time I save or the AVID autosaves, a window pops up saying:
“Project setting not saved due to error”. The project itself saves and it works fine, just more of a pain than anything.Second:
I captured footage from a DVCPro HD tape 720/24fps at Avid 1:1 codec. When I tried to do a digital cut, I got a message saying I had to Transcode. I did and it still gave me the same message. My deck is a Panasonic AJ-HD1200A and all of my settings are set up for this project. Also, any text or graphics I have will show up when I place the cursor on the track, but when I play it, all I get is black. Any thoughts?

If you can skip tc accurate layoff, you can just crash record it to a master. I am able to get away with this more often than not. Saves alot of troubleshootin’ time.
Cant always do it but it helps when ya can.
