Digital camera advise
I’m doing various corporate communications and training stuff. We’re in need of making a digital camcorder (budget around $800 -/+) Ideally NOT a dvc – I’d prefer an internal HD, but realize those add to the cost significantly. The biggest problem is finding one with an external mic hookup for a lavalier mic & a headphone jack. Or perhaps there are other options for audio (I think I saw a bluetooth enabled attachment for some Sony cameras.)
Any suggestions or direction you can provide is VERY much appreciated.

Oh, and I like JVC products, but was told that their software for digital cameras is very problematic – perhaps this is an old issue, but still a concern…
