  Digital breakup on captured footage -HELP!

  I’m using DV25 and capturing to an iMac via Firewire with an NTSC monitor. When I view the DVCAM tape on the NTSC monitor, the image looks fine. After I capture the footage to the iMac and view it on the NTSC monitor, half of the image has blocky digital break up but the other half is fine.

  The footage is about an hour long and I’ve done this without incident for three weeks in a row. Now, all of a sudden, the captured footage is bad!

  Does anyone have any hints as to where I should be looking to fix the problem. I’m stumped!
