Digibeta — rebuilt head from AheadTek?
Regarding Digibeta DVW-A500 drum
Anyone have any performance experience using rebuilt drums from Aheadtek rather than getting one from Sony? Cost of part is about 75 percent.

I haven’t had any experience with them, but I can tell you that I have had many assembly parts from Sony Pro Video and have had them meet or exceed specs for wear/head life. Pro Video decks and maintenance is one department where Sony doesn’t mess around.
