I am trying to do an assemble edit between two Digibeta decks and I don’t have a manual. I’ve never done this before, and I’m wondering if there is anyone who has a manual for a DVW-A500 or if there is someone that knows how to do it.

I edited footage from a movie, but I’m being given a higher quality transfer of the same movie on a DIFFERENT tape. I need to make a dub of the NEW tape so that the dub’s timecode will match the OLD tape. This will allow me to online my sequence.

    Thanks for the help.

Is dubbing just to alter the timecode strictly necessary? Can’t you just apply a correction factor to the in points after you determine the offset?

Are you using an edit controller or going deck-to-deck, like the analog beta SP decks could?
