difficulty importing Mpeg 4 files into FCP 7
First off, I’m a bit of a ludite. I’m 54. lol. I bought a gopro and shot some footage then imported it into iphoto and dumped the original gopro files. Now I want to import these same files into FCP 7 to edit. I downloaded MPEG Streamclip and tried to add a batch list. It allowed me to chose the files but then the same “add file” window came back up with all my iphoto mpeg files shaded and not eligible to select. Any ideas?

ok, got it, lol, had to chose destination,

Make sure you convert to ProRes LT, or ProRes 422. FCP doesn’t work with the files the GoPro shoots.
