When I capture video and the sample rate on the tape is different then the sequence settings, I get a warning “the sample rate on your media files does not match the sample rate on the source tape. This may cause audio offsync” Is there any way that final cut can tell you this before you go through a long capture? thanks

I’m afraid it has to analyze a captured file first. It may or may not be a problem though. Are the files out of sync? if not, you really don’t have a problem, right?

no. I’ve gotten these warnings many times over time, but the audio has never been out of sync. I’m just waiting for the day it does. Thanks!
