  Different Programs reporting Different Frame Rates?

  Hello! Had a strange one today. Client supplied a ProRes 422HQ encoded MOV that was supposed to be 23.976 fps. The file reports as 23.976 in:

  * DaVinci Resolve

  * Premiere Pro

  * Telestream Switch

  …but reports as 22.71fps in:

  * VLC

  * Quicktime Player

  Never seen this before: any ideas of the cause or which program(s) are correct?
