  • Different performance between Twixtor in Premiere Pro CC and AE CC

Posted by Juanjo Gonzalez on March 23, 2015 at 2:46 pm

Hello, I have Twixtor installed in both programs, but I see that AE achieves much better result than Premiere when I slow down a footage. I think there should´t be differences between them so I suppose I´m doing something wrong. When I say better results, I mean The resultant video is much smooth and fluid in AE than Premiere, where I find a -how do you say it- “choppy” video?

    Thanks for all!

    It should not
Is it possible your video frame rate does not match your sequence frame rate in Premiere?
Use Premiere Make Sequence From Clip (select clip in project bin and menu to that option) to make sure it’s all the same.
If this is the case check our tutorials also – https://help.revisionfx.com/album/20/#/tutorial-169

Thanks Pierre. I have the same frame rate both in source clip (coming from Gopro) and the sequence. I don´t understand why changes frame rates in the video. If I want to maintain the frame rate in 59,9fps.
    Thanks!
