    Hey people,

I’m have a problem with my texturing. I quite easily managed to get the texture of my straw just the way I wanted in the editor view, but when I render it I get a completely different texture.(see picture https://www.marcelooms.info/render.jpg)

I’ve had this problem before and couldn’t solve it, but I still don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Is it something in the preferences, or has it to do with the way I assigned the material?

I hope you can give me answer, thanks in advance

if you have the ability to use Enhanced OpenGL then use that. It will more closely follow what will come out with a render – it still won’t always be perfect there will always be compromises made to keep the editor view fast enough to be smooth. If you want quick feedback to see what a texture really looks like turn on the Interactive Render Region (alt-R).

first of all, thanks for the reply

But…. My openGl is open but as you can see in the image provided above I don’t think that is the problem. I’ve got my editor view exactly as I want with nice tiling red and white, but the render view makes it blurish and vertical. I don’t think this has anything to do with the performances of my computer but with my material options or render options.

Thanks again for the reply, I will keep searching for a solution and tell it when I found it
