Different file sizes, frame rates, fps
So I have a video running at 1080p at 30fps. I also have a video at 720p running at 120fps, which I slowed to 30fps in after effects, or so I think? Anyway, how would I go about exporting this? any specific tips? I tried exporting it last night at 1080p at both vbr 1 pass and 2 pass, but I kept getting unable to compile movie: unknown error. Any ides on how to get around this? All help is appreciated, thanks!

3rd gen 3.4ghz i7 6mb cache
16gb ram at 1600mhz
nvidia gt 650m

Also to add to the above. What if I went back and re-filmed the slow motion picture at 1080p 60fps and made that slow? The rest of my clip is running at 30fps, would there be any conflicts with this?

I would just load the 720p120 footage into PPro and select it in the Project Panel and right click-choose ‘modify’-select the ‘interpret footage’ tab and tell it to ‘assume this frame rate’…type in 29.97 (or whatever) and you’re done. No AE…and moreover, no rendering needed.

To help narrow down the list of potential root causes, I suggest creating two test projects (one for each source file). Try exporting a short clip from each using the desired export settings.
