  different detail level on HDX900 depending on HD or SD in the end?

  Hi,

  I have used Avid express pro to convert HD footage from my Panasonic HDX900 down to SD.

  First I converted the sequens from 1080i/50 to DV25 PAL and then I tried to do a digital cut to dvcam. The result is a wery soft image.

  I understand that the result of HD is sharper than SD. I guess the detail level should be set differently if the result should be shown in SD compared to HD.

  How do you set the detail level if the result will be shown in SD and how do you set it if the result will be shown in HD?

  Is there anyone who changes the detail level between HD and SD jobs?
