    hi,

i’m putting together a short film that has has used three cameras. Two of which being Sony Z1’s (shot in HDV 1080i50) and the other being a HDCAM camera that supports small-format (miniDVD) and was shooting with that.

When I look at the footage taken from the the Z1s in the viewer it looks fine, I then put it on the time-line and it goes pixalated.

I would think that this is a problem with the timeline settings. I’ve tried with both HDV and DV, neither of them work unfortunately.

    HELP!

Proper Easy setup for HDV from a Z1 is 1080i 60.

If you’re monitoring on a computer monitor not a video monitor you’re seeing RT playback drop down in resolution in the canvas, which it is designed to do. So, change your RT settings to display at high and set the framerate to dynamic.
