Activity Forums Adobe After Effects Expressions Difference Mode

    I have white text over a horizontally split background of white and blue. What I am trying to accomplish is if the portion of text is over the white background it is blue and if the portion of text is over the blue background it is white…difference..only works with a black background any suggestions help would be awesome.

    The only way I can think of doing it would be to have two identical text layers parented together (maybe with source text of child linked to parent), one blue and one white, with a solid track matte layer for the top one that is positioned so the top edge matches your blue/white boundary.
