    Hi CC,

We are shooting a commercial in a couple of weeks which is fairly simple: a locked frame with a car driving into the middle of the frame and stops. The car is blue and we want to have blue background as well, Our concern is the white reflections on the car. That’s why were are thinking that maybe we should shoot a white background with the car and a clean place with only the background then use difference matte to remove the white background and put in the blue but still have nice white reflections on the car. But then our concern is how about the windows and the white you see through the glass. What do you guys recommend or has anyone tried something similar?

I would suggest using a blue background but surrounding the car with white screens (outside the frame obviously, left and right of camera and on top, 45 degrees maybe, making sure the lights are not behind) that will provide some nice reflections on the side of the car and on top.
