Don’t you mean, “You’re?” Otherwise you’re denoting ownership of “adorable” as if it is a noun, not to mention the fact that your entire last response is a sentence fragment.

Hmmmm, seems someone who has an issue with “language” as you refer to it, would know something like that. Maybe if you spent more time learning the english language instead of spouting off about my knowledge of it, you might make for a better argument.

I do agree that Avid basic I/O is over priced and it would be good for them to open up to 3rd party hardware, As long as they still make their own hardware. I work on a Smyphony Nitris and love it.
My biggest complaint about FCP/aja/blackmagic is going to tape.
Too many times have I and other editors had issue’s getting out of fcp to tape. things out of sync, dropping frames, not inserting corectly etc etc. (and these are high end FCP suites, not i-macs with firewire drives)

The reliablity of the Nitris I/O is worth the extra money. I work on a lot of stuff for the NY met opera, so these are 2-3 hour shows
and I never have any issues inserting onto the masters. 99% of the time I don’t even check the inserts afterwards, and they never get kicked back after QC.

I don’t know you, but I AM a smart enough person to understand that you gave Justin (i,e “Dumbass”) information for FREE and gave of your valuable time as well, to do it. I LOVED “your adorable” and that Dumbass jumped all over the spelling…proving what other readers already knew – that he’s a little man with little concerns and will never work in our biz.

thank god you have mellow sense of humor and it was worth continuing to read it, just to see what YOU would say (forget Dumbass, no one cares what HE has to say). just reading you, looking better and better with each post, and him, Dumbass, looking more and more petty and ridiculous with each ungrateful response, was pure fun.
OH, and, those of us, who stumbled onto this site purely by accident, and were looking for REAL help with understanding systems etc., say “thank you, Paul for your time and expertise, and for being so generous with your sharing with the rest of us – who appreciate it”
