    Did AME kill my hard drive?
    I was trying to transcode too many .mp4 files from a Sony RX10 at once to ProRes and repeatedly crashed AME. Now I can’t open the external hard drive in finder at all. I can Get Info but finder won’t open the drive from the desktop or finder. First it wouldn’t open the specific folder, now the whole drive.
    The Finder gives me an error message about reopening windows but it doesn’t care if I say yes or no.

    Repaired permissions to no avail. Beware asking too much from AME!
