  dialogs appearing (or rather “hidden”) behind timeline window

  AE2018. Win 7
  If you, say, make a new solid, the dialog for that appears behind the time line window. Thankfully you can escape out of it if you don’t realize what’s happening, other wise the app appears frozen because you can’t accept what’s being asked because you can’t see it.
  Sliding the timeline out of the way reveals the dialog. Is this just another feature of 2018?
  To be fair this is the first I’ve seen this (same goes for many dialogs: prefs, the render cue (if it isn’t tabbed to another panel).
  Guess its time to throw the prefs out and rebuild?
