For some reason, Sony Vegas Pro 16 [now] hangs when it reaches “Device Explorer Initializing” [It worked fine for the longest time, and now it does this for whatever reason]. I’ve tried reinstalling it, reinstalling my graphics card, and removing external devices/hard drives.
I’ve also searched for this issue, but there’s basically no mention of it. Is this a very rare issue?

You have another Vegas Pro version installed with it?

I do, I have SV 13, along side 16. Thing is, the problem originally showed up with SV 13, so I installed SV 16, and the problem is still there.

After doing a lot of digging around, .Netframework was apparently the issue. I updated that, and Vegas no longer hung on “Initializing device explorer”.
