Determining field order

Thing is Jeremy; I need to know the details of the file before I start correcting it. If I guess the wrong order then the result is that the output on a CRT looks juddery and awful. So, back to my initial query of some low load app that can decipher it all for me before I start and so avoiding repeating myself!!

The VideoSpec app looks interesting but im not sure it is getting the details correct each time either!
