    Hi All

I know this was possible in FCP7 – Can you get FCPX to show you where you have used duplicate clips in a very long timeline ??

    Thnx for the input

Sort of. In 10.1, If a clip is already used in the open timeline, then that portion of the clip is marked with an orange bar in the event. I’m not sure if this function is on by default or if you have to turn it on in the view menu. It’s a nice feature we didn’t have in 7.

But duplicates are not tagged within the timeline like in 7.
