    Hi all
Im currently playing around with the Effect>Generate>Stroke effect in AE. Having lots of good results, but cant get the level of detail im after. If i take the brush stroke down to 1px it virtually disappears, 2px is ok, bit a bit big for what im after. I want to get some intricate detail into my work, not as complex as this:

but in that sort of direction. They have animated the growth of some of the lines, as i am doing using the Stroke effect, but they have a much more refined edge to it all. (Youtube not doing it justice as you can imagine)

Is my best bet for this to work up twice the size and then scale all my work down? Or is there another way of getting such detail?

    Cheers
    i

    Cheers Dave
Ive found if i work in a 3d space and zoom the camera out, AE does a good job of refining the line for me.
