  Desperately seeking assistance with multiple editors per project

  Hello. I have been trying for quite some time to wrap my head around the concept of several editors per project in FCPX. I have read several tips and tricks and many articles about this subject, but none of them seems to answer my questions.
  I will try to describe the workflow I am seeking help with:

  I am working on a television show with material loaded into one event stored on a shared folder(server?). Is there any way two editors can be working on this event at the same time? We will be working in two different projects but can we access the same material from the same event simultaneously? If so is there any way we can share keyword collections or how would this be done?

  I have read Apple’s Xsan whitepaper but I really don’t understand it. And to me my question is pretty simple: two (or more) editors, one event, two (or more) projects?

  Is there anyone in here with experience in this field?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
