  Desperate Newbie Question about Closed Captions

  I created an .scc file for a video creator who issuing Adobe Premiere and Adobe Encore.

  He added the file, and subtitles were working. He just called and said that when he is playing the movie with closed captions off he experiences this: “At a few points in the main film the grey bar with circles (below) pops up quickly and is distracting. I did lots of testing trying to figure out what is going on and asked some people and googled online. After testing, when I remove the subtitle file, the issue seems to go away.”

  Unless we can find a very quick fix, he is going to remove the subtitles form the movie. For a variety of reasons, this is a big loss.

  Any thoughts?
