    desktop crashing?

    Hello-

    My desktop crashed in the midst of a FCP task execution. What does this mean? I know it wasn’t FCP that crashed- but the desktop, but this befuddles me because I keep everything (media) on external hard drives and the G5 is packed with extra RAM’s for the software.

    Suggestions?

    OS X 10.4.8
    G5 2.66 GhHz Dual-core Intel Xeon
    Panasonic AJ-PCD20
    HVX-200
    1 TB Lacie
    MBE v.2

    Any number of things could have caused that to happen. Probably some corruption in your OS.
