    Hey Herd,

I’ve been curious about the new 3D trend. Is anyone aware of how to take a 2D image and make it look right for a viewer wearing 3D glasses? For example, say you have a picture of a cola bottle and want to make it fly at the viewer so it appears to come out of the screen. What’s the way to fake the stereo image without actually shooting the image with a stereoscopic camera? Is it a matter of seperating the red and blue channels of the image over time? I imagine the concept is somewhat simple as the technology has been around for 100 years.

I’m having a difficult time searching ‘designing for 3D’ because, as one can image, 3D typically refers to 3D space in AE.

    Thanks for any advice, Herd!
