    Desaturation!

    Anyone know of a way to completely desaturate the color in the Varicam for a purely black and white image? I’ve dialed the matrix all the way down which gets you close, but there’s still a little color.

    Despite my many requests to Panasonic to include an overall color saturation control they have not done so. The only aternative you have is to desaturate in post production. You could preview this on the set by turning the color down on your monitor.
