I am currently working on a composition in After Effects where I have multiple layers in 3D, all seen by a camera which has depth of field enabled. I would like one of these layers to retain it’s position in 3D space, so that objects can move behind it and remain obscured, however I would not like depth of field to effect this object (ie: the blur that comes with depth of field). Is there any way to turn off depth of field effects for a particular 3D layer?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

    No, that’s not possible.
