  • Deprecated Premiere-After effects copy/paste workflow issue

    Hi,
I’ve been using for a while the copy/paste workflow for moving my edited clips from Premiere sequences to After Effects compositions, and found that I like it much more than Dynamic link.
After last updates though this workflow became very buggy, i.e. sometimes it paste just one clip or it keeps pasting the first copy i do, like it was not able to flush the clipboard when new clips are copied in.
Quitting and relaunching apps doesn’t work.
    Anyone has experienced this behaviour?
    Any solution?
    Thanks in advance 🙂

You could also try using the File>Import Premiere Pro Project command. It’s separate from the regular import command and it should bring your whole Premiere sequence with each edit on its own layer.

Thank you Michael, your workaround certainly works, but I feel very handy the copy/paste thing and if it is still there it would be fine if it worked properly.
Anyone has noticed that after last updated of PPro and Ae the copy/paste stopped working properly.
I’m on osx el capitan with ae 13.7 e ppro
    Thanks!
