  depopper for symphony 6 – wave plugin – quick question

  Hi all,

  Slight conundrum. Have a client whose sessions need declicking/depopping of audio prior to mastering. We’ve been using RX2 with great success… but upon upgrading to symphony 6 (osx), the plugin is no longer supported. Seems like they added a 64-bit support for windows, but not yet OSX. Anyways, for a while I have heard great things about the wave plugins. So I tracked down x-click.

  And for the embarrassing part…

  I downloaded the demo, activated a usb key, and copied the waveshell to the avid plug-in folder. Yet, I cannot seem to find it in the audiosuite. Am I missing something simple? Just want to test out before I buy – and I have a tight turnaround to track down some sort of depopping software before Monday.

  If not, has anyone had success with another declicker/depoppers? The sort of thing that can be applied to an entire dialog track without isolation?
