Dented box
Posted by Nick Bruzek on April 6, 2018 at 11:47 amSo I’m trying to make a box with a letter on either side pushing the sides in a little bit like they are all squished together. Sounds really simple but for the life of me I can’t seem to figure it out

April 6, 2018 at 5:51 pmIs it as simple as the bulge deformer with a negative setting? (the deformer is a child of the box object and the box has to be editable – so a parametric cube won’t work – up the segments on the cube before you make it editable so you have enough polys to make the deformation smooth.)

April 6, 2018 at 9:14 pmJust for clarification, a parametric cube will work as long as it has more than one segment. And obviously the more segments it has, the smoother the deformation will be.

Jim, I guess we’re gonna have to auction off that “Genius” Propeller Beany. We’ll split the proceeds.
