I have camera Audio with steady hiss, I got denoiser to clean it up pretty good so I laid it on the timeline. When I got about 23 minutes in cutting the program just sat there on the timeline and would not play. There are cuts in the audio for content but nothing crazy, just tightening up the pauses. This is a new project with 4 hours raw footage and 3 60 Minute long sequences , 1 sync, 1 multicam, 1 master
1)I moved the media to aonther drive.
2)I tried to run to tape as I figured that would be the only way to render the audio. It rendered for export but did not export and it did not seem to help.
    3)I got furious.
4)I tried to make an audio subclip in another sequence and no dice…
5)I split up sequence and tried to play, no luck…….. Deleted all work extra work sequences……
4)I removed the effect and I am up and running.

Anyone had this problem? Also my other option is Parametric EQ, is that a cleaner way to go? Is this just a crazy day where something wants to take a break? Any insight would be great!

I would probably denoise it in Audition instead of Premiere Pro. That might solve part of the problem right there.

Or, denoise it in a sequence with the video deleted and then export it out to a new WAV file.

In either program, the parametric EQ is probably the tool that will give you the most control, but like any noise issue, there is no miracle cure.

I find a combination of DeNoiser and EQ can work, albeit slightly muffling the audio if you try to remove all the background noise. I do not have Audition, so this works for me. Sometimes.
Agree with the others, export a WAV once you are happy. You will have to render the audio before laying to tape anyway.

One important note about the noise reduction filters is that they only usually work in pauses.

They won’t affect areas were you have speech or music.

I exported the audio and dropped the filter on it and it is going out to broadcast! If only the sound tech would have hit it right or given me an alternate copy…. Well these things help put things in perspective…… Thanks For all the help!
