Does anybody know the correct settings for an Denecke SB-T timecode generator in combination with a Sony PDW-700 XDcam HD camera?
the gen lock settings keep meshing up the camera sync

What is your shooting frame rate and timecode on the camera? That would be the most important consideration. I’d send as much specifics as possible directly to Denecke- they are very helpful.

    Hi Noah,

    I’m shooting XD HD 422 25p
The SB-T has its dial on 2 and the dip switches on 00.
I’ve tried 01 (interlaced setting) as well but I keep having
rolling sync problems. These are settings I got from the nice
    folks at Denecke.
the box has time code and the green led flashes every second.
On my PDW 510 the SB-T works flawlessly with gen lock.
    regards,

Good point. but it seems that the gen lock setting is permanently set to internal on the Time code settings page of the menu.
It does not respond to changing.
Is there maybe a setting on a different page that allows the gen lock to be changed?
The 700 menu has more of these, such as the magnification setting that has to be done on two different pages.
