    Hi there:

I’ve got a wierd problem where my original 16;9 files work, but any file I alter by adding effects to or import after manipulating them in After Effects shows up as a 4;3 in the Program Monitor.

It is 16;9 in the Source Monitor and after I export the files they turn back into a 16;9.

All settings are 16;9 where I know to change them and when I intrpret footage, it shows up as 720 x 480 widescreen.

I’m thinking about deleting my render files and rerendering the project. WHen I start I get a warning that all files will be deleted. I just want to make sure that I am not going to be making a mistake I can’t repair.

If I delete render files, will I be okay to just rerender the entire work area?

    Thanks,

    MIKE

Yes. Just delete the render files (also called Preview files) and then render. I do this now and then just to keep drive space requirements down.
