  • deleting log markers from a master clip

I’ve been capturing footage and using F3 to insert markers as I go for places I suspect would be a good in/out point for subclips later on. I’m BRAND NEW to Avid (FCP user)… how can I delete those log markers from the master clip once I’ve gone through and made my necessary subclips? In addition to that, how can I add more markers once the master clip is already captured?

Open up the Locator window under Tools menu and you can delete any one or all from there. You can also add there or via the locator button under the source monitor. If one is not there, you can add one via the button remapping feature from the command palette.
