  • Deleting ALL Markers?

Posted by John Bertram on October 29, 2005 at 6:50 pm

Is there a quick way to truly delete ALL clip markers in a sequence at once, instead of only the markers in selected clips within which the playhead happens to be positioned? This seems to be the limitation of the so-called “Delete All” command (Cntrl-`), at least as far as clip markers are concerned (it works fine for deleting all sequence markers when no clips are selected).

But for clip markers, what I’m looking for is a true Delete All option, which would apply to all selected clips regardless of where the playhead happens to be. Anyone know if such an option exists?

Did you ever find an answer to this? I would love to do that also.

Sadly, no — other than the suggestion to submit it as a feature request to the Feedback section (along with a host of other “how-come-you-can’ts”, like a proper Undo History, an auto-scrolling Timeline, etc.)

    Cheers,
