  • Deleting a part of and elipse to create a semicircle

    Hey, it’s my first post around here so don’t expect too much from me.
    I’m trying to delete a little bit of an elipse to create two semicircles, somthing like this:

    The thing is that my background is not white so i can’t create a mask like that, i tried the eraser tool but didn’t worked out.

    PS: I’m a noob in after effects.

    Could u use ‘trim paths’?

    You can use animated(or still if you don’t need animation) masks to delete the parts of the circle you need deleted.
