When Im scrubbing HD timelines, there is lag and its not fluid like when i scrub through my SD timelines. I thought this was normal, but when i spoke to someone else with the exact same setup as me, he said his was totally fluid when scrubbing through HD project timelines.

    My specs are:

    Mac os X leopard 10.5.2
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Latest version of QT, Final Cut Pro etc.

I was wondering, is this because when i formatted my drives I chose Mac os X extended (journaled)

I was told once long ago not to do journaled, but i forgot. Is this slowing things down?

    Many thanks.
