Deinterlace and uprez–into what file format for Premiere?
I’m finally tackling a job of deinterlacing and uprezing an SD Quicktime movie (probably to 720p) to combine with other material in a new HD Premiere movie. I’m going to try using Compressor 3.5.
What’s the best codec/file format to ask Compressor to send this to? Is Prores 422 OK for further work in Premiere? Apple Intermediate Codec?
Thanks for any thoughts and experience,
