  • Degrees or Radians? Hue-Saturation

I’m messing around with parameter behaviours to see what sorts of things can be linked to other things.

Since Hue, in the Hue/Saturation filter, works on degrees, I linked it to the Z-rotation of another object. Rotate Object 1 => change hue of Object 2.

But when the source object rotates 360deg, the Hue value only rotates 57.3deg (which just happens to be 1 radian).

So “one full rotation” becomes “one radian” becomes 57.3deg.

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

    Thanks.

Thanks Mark. That was my solution (scale by 6.3), though it seems odd that both parameters are measured in degrees but don’t match when linked.

It’s amazing what can be achieved, though, by some careful linking.

Rigging and widgets are next on the list 🙂
