Definitive Guide or FAQ’s
Can somone point me to a place on the web, a book or possibly here on the Cow that would be a definitive guide, dictionary, gloosary of terms or even a FAQ page that would have definitions, or translations of frame rates, aspect ratios for various formats, compressions of various foramts, comparisson of DVCpro 50 to digibeta, or Panasonic’s VariCam format to Sony’s HDCam, frame size of DV compared to BetaSP, etc…
With all the different frame rates today, and aspect ratios, and various compression schemes I’m finding myself trying to explain it to people so I, one want to make sure I have my info correct and two, be able to hand them a sheet of paper and have them read it or send them to a site.Thanks,
