For a visualization project I’ve created a 3D object in Cinema 4D ver 9.012 . This object represents an electricly charged partical.

In a complex scientific simulation project we calculate the trajectory of the charged particle. The trajectory data contains the X,Y,Z position (Xp,Yp,Zp), X,Y,Z rotation angles (Xr,Yr,Zr) for each animation frame.

We save the data file as a ASCII text file in which each line contains space seperated values of “Time Xp Yp Zp Xr Yr Zr”.

Is it possible (how) to read the “Time Xp Yp Zp Xr Yr Zr” data from the text file and move/rotate the 3D object in Cinema 4D Ver 9.012 and create the “scientificly realistic” animation ?

    Regards,
