Default window arrangement
Is there a way to change motion’s default window arrangement?
example:
everytime i open motion i have to hit F5 & F6 to bring up my timeline and layers.
i then have to scale my canvas to fit the window (usually zoom it out)i tried looking in prefs without any luck

Sure you can. First setup the layout as you like (btw, pressing Shift-Z is a quick way to fit the Canvas to the window), then from the Window menu, choose Save Current Layout… and give it a name. With it selected, it will now be your default layout when you launch Motion or create a new project.
